Sarah Kate Silverman (December 1, 1970) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and author. Her meteoric rise to fame began with her brief appearances in 1993 and 1994 as both a writer and a cast member on Saturday Night Live, an NBC sketch comedy series. The Sarah Silverman Program, which aired on Comedy Central from 2007 to 2010, allowed her to star in addition to producing the show.
Her 2023 HBO Max stand-up comedy special, Someone You Love, aired for an hour. Max premiered its first stand-up comedy special with this. "Something to Tell You" was the first time her new song was performed, and it was filmed at the Wilbur Theater in Boston. Nominated for a Golden Globe and named Outstanding Comedy/Variety Special by the Writers Guild of America, the special was a smashing success.
