Sarah Anne Cooper (December 19, 1977) is an American comedian and author. She is currently based in NYC. Cooper is well-known for working in Yahoo! and user experience for Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. Cooper holds a degree in economics from the famous University of Maryland, College Park. She also earned a degree in digital design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Cooper started to work as a stand-up comedian when she was working in Yahoo! in Atlanta. Later, during her time at Google, she pursued her passion for stand-up comedy.
Cooper began her official career by leaving Google and performing and writing comedy full-time. Draw What Success Looks Like and 100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings were the first two books by Cooper that were published in 2016. Her third book followed them in 2018, entitled How to Be Successful Without Hurting Men's Feelings. In 2014, she wrote a blog post that garnered five million views.
Draw What Success Looks Like was a "coloring and activity book" by Cooper that was also a major success. During the pandemic, Cooper uploaded some of the lip-syncing statements by herself made by Donald Trump. These videos were also successful and resulted in her appearances at several talk shows. In October 2020, she also came up with a show named Sarah Cooper: Everything's Fine. The show also premiered on Netflix.
