Rosebud Baker is an American fast-rising comedian, writer, and actress. She was selected as New Face of Comedy for the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2018 in Montreal. According to the Village Voice, Baker was named “The Very Best of Just For Laughs New Faces Showcase.” According to them, Baker’s wickedly dirty and no-nonsense routine cut through the evening just like barbed wire.
Baker is praised for her intensely personal yet remorselessly dark brand of humor. This made her stand out to viewers in the “Inside Jokes,” which is the Amazon Video docu-series, documenting her journey from auditions to callbacks, to the festival, and finally to the showcase itself. Baker has also appeared on This Week at The Cellar, a standup by Comedy Central Stand-up. She also worked as a writer on The Roast of Alec Baldwin by Comedy Central.
