Ronan Farrow Information
Satchel Ronan O'Sullivan Farrow, born on December 19, 1987, is an American journalist and the son of filmmaker Woody Allen and actress Mia Farrow. He is best known for writing an article in 2017 in The New Yorker. The article helped to uncover the allegations of sexual abuse against the film producer Harvey Weinstein. Due to Farrow's report, The New Yorker won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 2018. His investigations have also exposed similar allegations against the politician Eric Schneiderman as well as the media executives Les Moonves and Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Farrow is also well-known due to his regular appearance on "Today," the morning program for NBC. From the year 2001-2009, Farrow performed his duties as a UNICEF Spokesperson for Youth. He was advocating for those children and women who were caught up in the ongoing crises of the Darfur region of Sudan. He also assisted groups who were affiliated with the United Nations in addressing and fundraising.
Farrow was also affiliated with the Genocide Intervention Network. He joined the Obama administration in 2009 and was assigned as Special Adviser for Humanitarian and NGO. He later left the government and began to further his studies to become a journalist and attended Magdalen College, Oxford. He has also written a few books so far, including War on Peace: The End of Diplomacy and the Decline of American Influence in 2018, and Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators.
