Rob Lake Information
Rob Lake (December 30, 1982) is an American illusionist and magician known for his original grand illusions. He was born in Norman, Oklahoma. Lake became fascinated with magic after attending the Kirby VanBurch performance in Branson, Missouri, when he was ten. Along with fellow Oklahoma magician Jim Smithson, VanBurch soon became Lake's tutor. Lake, at 22 years old, began his first foreign tour in 2005, spending several months in Japan. Lake began performing his theatrical presentation for casinos and cruise lines in the United States, including Disney Cruise Line and Holland America Line.
Lake has performed his show in theaters and casinos across the United States and abroad, spending at least 75% of the year on the road. From the Florida Keys to California, Lake has played all around the United States. Three tours in Japan, four tours in Europe, and appearances in Australia, Guam, Thailand, and even the White House are among the highlights.
Lake produced this illusion for Caesars Entertainment Corporation on short notice as part of the Millionaire Maker summer promotion. Caesars was so taken aback by the feat that they purchased airtime and broadcast video of it in Times Square and on the Las Vegas Strip.
