Rick Thomas is one of America’s favorite religious personality who leads a training network for families, individuals, business leaders, and churches to help them become more productive people. He leads this ministry to reach people worldwide through speaking, writing, podcasting and educating. Thomas earned a BA in Theology in 1990, and the next year, he received a BS in Education. He was later ordained into Christian ministry in 1993, and in 2000, Rick completed his MA in Counseling from The Master’s College (Santa Clarita, CA).
Rick Thomas was recognized as a fellow of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) in 2006. According to him, Rick had a rocky childhood, which he marks as the beginning of the story—living under the shadow of an alcoholic and abusive father. He fled his abusive home at the age of 15 and soon found himself in jail due to shoplifting, drinking alcohol, and smoking weed.
Thomas states that jail was the place that was his turning point, and he decided to give up his bad habits. After reforming himself, Thomas married at the age of 20 and soon had a daughter and a son. In 1984, he came to know about the Lord while working in a machine shop. Thomas was never interested in religion previously, but this time, the Lord imposed Himself into his life.
