Ray DeJon, a notable host and speaker in New York's entertainment sector, was born in Brooklyn and has been in the business for more than 18 years. Presently, Ray DeJon hosts the well-liked TV music show Video Music Box. He has spoken with famous people from the worlds of sports, music, television, and movies, including Stevie Wonder, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Hart, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Jamie Foxx, and Alicia Keys.
Before hosting Video Music Box, Ray DeJon co-hosted Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater and hosted Dance Traxx USA. His extensive resume includes hosting a variety of events, including radio promotions, comedy shows, Black Expo, Harlem Week, the Funkmaster Flex Custom Car & Bike Show Tour, the Off-Broadway play "Loving Him is Killing Me," the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and significant R&B/Hip-Hop concerts across the nation.
As the President and Founder of DeJon Entertainment, Ray DeJon produces and hosts Stand-Up Comedy At The Movies, a national touring performance that first debuted in 2001. Additionally, he recently founded Laffaholics Comedy Club, Brooklyn's first black-owned comedy club. His brand has recently been extended to Queens' brand-new Resorts World Casino.
He has produced, marketed, and hosted Old School Hip Hop, R&B, and Stand Up Comedy. Acts including Boys 2 Men, Sinbad, Naughty by Nature, Sommore, Dougie Fresh, Tommy Davidson, Tamar Braxton, and others will be performing at these events. Last but not least, he has teamed up with Eastern Leight Getaways to produce weekend events that once again feature huge musical and comedy artists like Rick Ross, K-Michelle, and others.
