Preacher Lawson (March 14, 1991) is an American comedian born in Portland, Oregon, and well-known for being a finalist on America’s Got Talent during its 12th season. Lawson returned to America’s Got Talent: The Champions and received 5th place.
Before he turned 10, Lawson had already moved to 20 different places. He then lived in Memphis, Tennessee, for an extended time. Lawson started working as a comedian while living in Orlando, Florida, and considers this his hometown. At 16, he had begun writing jokes and performing them. In 2015, Lawson won the Funniest Comedian in Florida and Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2016.
Lawson began running a YouTube channel to post music videos, vegan and vegetarian cooking guides, and travel vlogs. So far, he has accumulated more than 460,000 subscribers and 11,500,000 views on his videos.
