Nicholas Roger Swardson (October 9, 1976) is an American stand-up comedian, screenwriter, actor, and producer. He is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Swardson is popular for his recurring role as Terry Bernadino in one of the famous comedy series, Reno 911!. Not only this, but his work collaboration with Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions along with his sketch comedy series Nick Swardson's Pretend Time are the two primary reasons for his success.
Before his current career, Nicholas Roger Swardson was an editor and journalist working for publications such as Cincinnati Enquirer and City Pages. He is the founder of the Grand Gazette (a former Saint Paul community newspaper). He began to act and perform comedy at the age of 16. Swardson was a mischievous student who struggled with alcohol and drugs. He got expelled from the school for a severe bad attitude.
Swardson began performing stand-up comedy officially when he was 18. He used to attend open mic nights at the Minneapolis comedy club known as Acme Comedy Co. During his initial career stages, Swardson achieved a comedy club's award for the "Funniest Person in the Twin Cities." He used to perform at Knuckleheads (Mall of America) regularly. He was selected to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, being 20 only.
Swardson’s discographies include Gay Robot by Adam Sandler (2004), Calling Home by Adam Sandler (2004), Party (2007) (Stand-Up), and Seriously, Who Farted? (2009) (Stand-Up). He also appeared in many films such as Almost Famous, Art School Confidential, Blades of Glory, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, The House Bunny, and the list goes on.
