Nick Kroll Information
Nick Kroll (June 5, 1978) is an American writer, actor, producer, and comedian. His full name is Nicholas Jules Kroll. He is known for his Comedy Central series, the Kroll Show. It was his popular television work that he starred and created himself. Kroll has also done some famous shows such as “Big Mouth,” a Netflix series in which he starred and co-created the series himself. Another big comedy series, “The League” (which was presented by the FX/FXX) and The Oh, Hello Show, was also his creations.
Kroll began his career by writing for Chappelle’s Show of Comedy Central’s and Human Giant of MTV. Aziz Ansari took Nick Kroll with him during his “Glow in the Dark” comedy tour in November and December 2008. His career began succeeding in ABC sitcom Caveman where he co-starred TV Commercial characters that were based on the Geico-insurance. He, as a film actor, has also performed as a voice-over artist in some popular films such as Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Sausage Party, Sing, Love, Uncle Drew, The House, The Secret Life of Pets 2, and Adult Beginners.
Kroll was honored with the Breakout Star of the Year Award during “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” which was held in Montreal, Quebec in 2013. Some of his famous characters of all time are Gil Faizon of The Oh, Hello Show, Ref Jeff, Fabrice Fabrice, and Bobby Bottleservice.
Some of his significant television shows where he appeared and performed remarkably are WordGirl (2009-2010), Portlandia (2011), Community (2011), American Dad! (2011-2012)The Soup (2013), Burning Love (2013), Mulaney (2014), The Simpsons (2015), and hundreds of other different Television shows. He appeared with a diverse and unique character in every other episode.
In 2009, Kroll was nominated in the Denver Film Critics Society Awards for Best Acting Ensemble. His nomination in this award was due to his work in “I Love You, Man.” He was also nominated for Favourite Sketch Comedy TV Show in People’s Choice Award (2015).
