Nick Griffin is an American comedian and writer. Griffin, a Kansas City native, now residing in New York, can be seen at such NYC comedy hotspots as The Comedy Cellar, Stand Up NY, and Gotham Comedy Club.
Griffin started his stand-up comedy career in Kansas City when he was 19 years old, in 1987. He then moved to New York in 1990 and began performing at midnight performances in Greenwich Village. Later, he became the chief writer for Bobby Slayton and Sue Murphy's morning radio show after relocating to Los Angeles and working as a staff writer on The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show in 1997.
Griffin first gained widespread attention with his participation in The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and he later established himself as a regular on Premium Blend. He returned to New York in 2006 and has since appeared on the late-night shows of David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and most recently, in May of 2016, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Besides his eleven appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Nick Griffin has been a guest on Conan, The Late Late Show, and his half-hour Comedy Central special. Griffin has been a comedian for almost 25 years, and his witty, sarcastic, and humorous approach has made him a household name.
