Matthew Broussard (April 26, 1988) is an American stand-up comedian and TV personality from New Jersey. He was raised in Atlanta, GA, in a house of scholars and studied computational and applied mathematics and mechanical engineering at Rice University. Later he decided to become a comedian, becoming the winner of Houston’s Funniest Person in 2012. He began doing stand-up in Houston while working as a financial analyst.
Matthew Broussard has appeared on Adam Devine’s House Party, Comedy Knockout, The League, and The Mindy Project. He was featured at the 2015 Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival as a new face and was a runner-up in the International Roastmasters Invitational to Jimmy Carr. Matthew Broussard secured second place on Comedy Central’s ROAST BATTLE, where he has also done a half-hour special with the network.
Matthew Broussard created the weekly puzzle-based webcomic mondaypunday.com in 2011. He appeared on The League, Roast Battle, and Conan. Broussard landed a role in the hit film entitled Balls Out, starring Jake Lacy. Some of his other notable TV credits are Adam DeVine’s House Party, Last Call with Carson Daly, and a few more.
