Mark Normand Information
Mark Normand (September 18, 1983) is an American actor and stand-up comedian born in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2006, he debuted as a stand-up comedian in his native New Orleans. He has been on Conan, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and he has performed around the United States and in other countries. Since 2013, Normand and fellow comedian Joe List have co-hosted a weekly podcast titled Tuesdays with Stories.
In 2014, he had a half-hour special air on Comedy Central's The Half Hour. In 2014, he dropped an album on Comedy Central Records titled Still Got It, taped at Madison, Wisconsin's Comedy on State. In 2017, Normand had his one-hour Comedy Central special, Don't Be Yourself, air. He's been on Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Conan's late-night shows.
Normand beat out 63 other comedians to win the March Madness competition at Caroline's on Broadway 2013. He was awarded "Best Comedian of 2013" by The Village Voice. In 2011, he was selected as one of Comedy Central's "Comics to Watch" for the New York Comedy Festival, and in 2012, he appeared on the network's John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show. Mark has been recognized as one of Esquire's "Best New Comedians 2012" and one of the "21 New York Comedy Scene Linchpins" by Time Out New York.
