Marcus D. Wiley is an American stand-up comedian, a college professor at Texas Southern University, and co-host of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show. He went to high school at Willowridge High School in Missouri City, Texas. He is best known for his impressions of Bishop Secular. Wiley is also a stand-up comedian who has toured all around the country. He was a trendsetter in the comedy industry as he brought clean stand-up comedy to the masses.
Wiley started his official stand-up comedy career in September 2002. Yolanda Adams, a four-time Grammy Award winner, became heavily attracted after watching his clean comedy approach. Adams offered Wiley a spot to become her co-host on the highly-acclaimed radio show entitled “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show.” It was a breakthrough Wiley needed to begin his career.
Wiley has received huge recognition for his stand-up comedy tours, performing much of his routine from his popular DVD series including “Comedy Is Sexy and Acting Married,” “How To Live Holy When You’re Horny,” “When The Church Met The Club,” “The Devil Ain’t The Only One,” and “Pretty Woman Never Get Married.”
Snapchat hired Wiley as Head of Program Planning and Development, where he is responsible for creating a type of content geared towards their young audience.
