Mac King (December 2, 1959) is an American magician. He was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He has performed on several television specials that he often co-hosts as well. King also has his family-friendly show named “The Mac King Comedy Magic Show.” It takes place in the Clint Holmes Theater at Harrah’s Las Vegas. King started touring the comedy clubs after completing his graduation from college. After that, for the next several years, King did more than 200 shows a year.
In the 1990s, King had already begun doing television specials and appeared at Las Vegas casinos. He also became a permanent act at Harrah’s in 2000, where he performed ten shows a week. On June 4, 2021, it was announced that King would move to Excalibur after finishing his 20 years at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
King also teaches his audience in segments referred to as the Mac King School of Magic through the NBC The World’s Greatest Magic specials. He is also the only magician who is into all five of the network’s specials. So far, King has been featured in Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Other Half, Donny and Marie, Penn and Teller’s Sin City Spectacular, The World’s Wildest Magic, and Houdini: Unlocking His Secrets.
