Luenell (March 12, 1959) is an American actress and comedian. She was born in Tollette, Arkansas. Luenell was a regular guest on Soul Beat TV with host and renowned African-American Bay Area journalist Chauncey Bailey in the early 1990s. Luenell married her husband, whom she calls "Mr. Rarely," on June 18, 2001. They are parents to a little girl named Da'Nelle.
Like a hurricane, Luenell will blow you away. This gifted actress, singer, and comedian was born in the little hamlet of Tollette, Arkansas. After witnessing South Pacific and Ain't S'posed to Die a Natural Death at the age of 10, she was hooked on acting forever. She started taking theatre classes in elementary school, continued through college, and got to start at the Oakland Ensemble Theatre. In 2012, Luenell appeared in three blockbuster movies that went on to become box office successes: the Arielle Kebell and Meagan Good comedy "Think Like a Man," the Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi 3D cartoon hit "Hotel Transylvania," and the Liam Neeson action thriller "Taken 2."
She co-starred with Adam Sandler and Leighton Meester in the comedy That's My Boy. Recent episodes of "The Middle" and "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" include Luenell, and she has also made appearances on "Snoop Dogg's Bad Girls of Comedy" on SHOWTIME and "Stand-up In Stilettos" on the TV Guide Network for her stand-up comedy.
