Lavell Maurice Crawford (November 11, 1968) is an American actor and comedian born in St. Louis, Missouri. Crawford was a student at Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri, and graduated in 1986. He may be best known for his role as Huell Babineaux in Breaking Bad and its spin-off, Better Call Saul. In the Netflix original movie named The Ridiculous 6 (as Gus Patch), he also made an appearance. During the 1990s, Crawford frequently performed in ComicView by BET. He was also the contestant on Last Comic Standing by NBC in 2007.
Crawford recorded “Lavell Crawford: Can a Brother Get Some Love” at the Roberts Orpheum Theatre (St. Louis) in 2011. Later he appeared on the crime drama series, Breaking Bad. Crawford received a small supporting role in the 2015 film, “American Ultra.” Crawford has been featured multiple times on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore.
Crawford made a guest appearance on Adult Swim in Aqua TV Show as a chimp alien and Unbelievable Ron. There are countless hit films in which Crawford has appeared, including Hubie Halloween (2020), Love Is Not Enough (2019), Compton’s Finest (2018), Boo! A Madea Halloween (2018), Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), Meet the Blacks (2016), and For Love or Money (2014). His notable television appearances include New Girl (2017), Legends of Chamberlain Heights (2016-2017), and Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell (2015).
