Laurent Paquin Information
Laurent Paquin (September 21, 1971) is a Canadian radio personality and comedian from Quebec. He is also a co-animator for the radio station, CKOI-FM, for the “Leve-toi et marche.” He works alongside Guy Jodoin, Karine Robert, and Patrice Belanger on the show. Paquin has hosted several galas for the Just for Laughs festival, which took place in Montreal, Quebec, and has played in “Chicago” presented in Montreal at the Casino de Paris.
Paquin has worked in several commercials, including Bell Canada, in which he was the voice of Bertrand, a beaver. He has also played in the hit television series named “Histoires de filles.” He currently has two running shows: “Tout est relatif” and “Premiere impression.” He launched his first Premiere Impression one-person-show in 2001, which grasped the significant attention of Quebec audiences.
Paquin presented his second solo show entitled “Tout est relatif” in 2006, which was met with resounding success. More than 125,000 people observed the show, which won two Olivier for the Comedy Show and the title of Author of the Year. Paquin performs in the play named “L’emmerdeur” in theater while his third one-person show, “L’Erreur est humaine,” was launched in March 2013, for which more than 150,000 tickets were sold, and over 250 performances took place.
Paquin has appeared in a few hit films, such as One Upon a Time Les Boys and Bye Bye 2013, 2014, and 2015. He has also made several other appearances on notable television shows as well as different on-stage performances.
