Larry Reeb Information
Larry Reeb is a stand-up comedian who is famous as Uncle Lar from Chicago, Illinois. Reeb is best known for his one-liners, often followed by his famous catchphrase, “that’s a tip from your Uncle Lar.” In 1987, his earliest recorded and released performance came out. Currently, Reeb is one of the frequent guests on The Bob & Tom Show and the famous Todd-N-Tyler Radio Empire. Reeb auditioned for the fourth season of Last Comic Standing in 2006, making it to the second part of the quarterfinals.
Reeb has released three discographies so far named It’s A Sick World, I’m A Happy Guy (1999), It’s A Sick World, I’m A Happy Guy, Volume 2 (2000), and It’s A Sick World, I’m A Happy Guy, Volume 3 (2009). Some of his notable television and video appearances were on “Comedy Club Network” “Comedy Club Allstars 1” (Showtime), “Opening Night at Rodney’s Place (HBO), “Comic Strip Live,” “Comedy Express” (Fox), “Comedy on the Road” (A&E), “Standup Spotlight” (VH1), “1/2 Comedy Hour” (MTV), “Ben Around Town” (PBS), “Chicago Sports Profiles” (Fox Sports Networks), “New Year’s Eve at Zanies” (WGN), and “Truly Tasteless Jokes” (Vestron Video). Reeb was voted for “Best of Fest” and “Comedy Club Pick” at the Las Vegas Comedy Fest and “Chicago Comedian of the Year” at the Chicago Music Awards.
