Kountry Wayne (December 9, 1987) is a multi-talented American performer, comedian, and content creator named DeWayne Jamarr Colley. Digital cartoons created by Wayne often include cameo appearances by famous actors, musicians, and athletes like Mike Epps, Lamar Odom, Ludacris, and others.
Wayne first appeared on television in September 2018 on Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out, an improvised combat rap show on MTV. His 2020 holiday film Holiday Heartbreak, an original production of BET, premiered on December 16.
Strange Love, a comedic feature film that Wayne executive produced and acted in, debuted on Amazon Prime on February 14, 2022. Praise This, an April 2023 Peacock original film starring Druski, Chloe Bailey, Mack Wilds, Quavo, and Will Packer, was directed by Tina Gordon and starred him as Painted Duck DJ. Stay Up and Live Your Truth, Wayne's First Book, Was Released in April 2023. Comedian and actor Cedric the Entertainer penned the preface.
Even now, Wayne is still doing stand-up comedy. He made his national theatrical tour debut in 2023 with the hit musical Help Is On The Way. This was Live Nation's second tour promoting his music. As part of the Netflix is a Joke Festival in 2022, Wayne appeared at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Earlier that year, in May of 2023, Wayne filmed in Washington, D.C., his first one-hour comedy special titled A Woman's Prayer, which was scheduled to debut on Netflix.
