Ken Davis is an American television producer, author, and journalist based in Southern California. He is a multi-Emmy-Award-winning personality and best known for becoming one of the youngest television news anchormen across the nation. Davis successfully went on to have a four-decade career in broadcasting and published a memoir in 2018, which was all about his extensive adventures in the industry.
Ken Davis began his official broadcasting career in Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona, as a radio disc-jockey during his college years. He was already anchoring the news on KOAI-TV (NBC) at the age of 20. At the same time, Davis was completing his degree in Political Science at Northern Arizona University. Soon he became a reporter, a news producer, and a writer at television stations. He worked as a producer with the “MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour,” “I Witness Video,” “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” “Personalities,” “Real TV,” and “EXTRA.” Davis also served as a brief host to the PBS program “Why in the World?”
Davis has written and produced many segments for cable channels such as Biography, Animal Planet, The Travel Channel, Biography, Animal Planet, The Travel Channel, and more. Davis’ memoir was entitled “In Bed with Broadcasting.” He has won three Emmy awards, two Genesis Awards, three Golden Mikes, and commendations from the United States Congress, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the California State Assembly, and the Los Angeles Police Department.
