John Crist (March 20, 1984) is an American comedian. Sketches like "Every Parent at Disney," "Millennial International: Sponsor a Millennial Today," "If Golf and soccer switched announcers," and "Weather Man MELTS down on live TV" are among his most popular uploads to YouTube. Church or Weed Shop are two more of his well-known works. Anjelah Johnson, Tim Hawkins, and Dave Chappelle are among the comedians whom Crist has preceded onstage.
Crist debuted in front of an audience at an open mic night at Chili's in 2009. In 2012, Crist was a finalist in Comedy Central's Up Next Comedy Competition and won the Denver Improv's Got Laughs and Loonees Comedy competitions. Crist also visited American troops in the Middle East as part of his comedy tour.
In the fall of 2017, Crist performed in front of sold-out crowds across 20 East Coast cities for his debut headlining tour, Captive Thoughts. Crist signed with United Talent Agency and relocated to Nashville in 2018.
Later the same year, he embarked on his second headlining tour, the Human Being Tour, which visited 55 locations across the United States. He also took part in Winter Jam, an annual Christian music event.
Check Your Heart is a catchphrase of Crist. On May 19, 2019, he collaborated with DJ Mykael V, nobigdyl., and 1K Phew to make a rap record and music video for the term. The song peaked at number two on the Christian music charts on iTunes.
