John Brown is a famous stand-up comedian born in Aiken, South Carolina. He is currently living in Dallas for the past ten years. Brown has been into stand-up comedy since he was a toddler. "The Runaway Pumpkin" was a humorous Halloween tale that brown wrote at eight and won a contest. His story was published in my hometown newspaper. At 11, he began performing comedic sketches he had written at school talent events.
By the time he was in sixth grade, Brown had discovered his calling in the theater. After finishing high school, he was a B-52 crew chief in the US Air Force. Brown left the military in 2007 and got a bachelor's degree in history and economics from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, in 2011.
It took him a few years of self-examination, but he finally tried stand-up comedy. Brown is currently a regular performer in theaters and nightclubs nationwide and in his hometown. He is a frequent performer on tour with Ben Creed (Showtime, HBO) and William Lee Martin (Amazon Prime, CMT) as part of their "Open For Business" tour.
