Joe Clair is an American actor, stand-up comedian, VJ, and radio personality born in 1967. His nickname, Joe Cleezy, also knows him. Clair is a native of Seat Pleasant, Maryland that is a suburb of Washington D.C. He is very well-known as a former host of Rap City of BET from 1994 to 1999. Clair has hosted several morning drive time shows in Washington D.C. on WPGC-FM from 5:50 am to 10:00 am.
Clair completed his graduation from Morgan State University and received a bachelor’s in psychology in Baltimore, Maryland. Apart from his recognition of being a host of Rap City, he has also hosted many other radios shows. Clair has also appeared on stand-up comedy shows such as ComicView and Def Comedy Jam. He was named the morning drive time host at WPGC-FM from February 2015 to July 2021 in his hometown of Washington, D.C.
Clair has also performed as an actor in his career, appearing in several films. The most notable film appearance for Clair was the 1992 horror film named Ax’ EM. He played the character of Tony in that film.
