Joe Bartnick is an American writer, comedian, and actor. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1997, Bartnick established himself as a stand-up comedian in San Francisco, where he had relocated. Before playing Madison Square Garden, The Chicago Theater, The Warfield, the Punch Line, and the Palace of Fine Arts, he started performing in laundromats and coffee shops.
He became a regular at Punchline, performing with legends like Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, and Robin Williams. Bartnick relocated to Hollywood in 2006, when he started working as a writer and actor. Writer for shows like "Dogg After Dark" and "Eddie Griffin: Going For Broke," among many more. Among his acting credits is Dirty Jokes the Movie, in which he played a major role. The show King of Clubs, which he also starred in, was conceived by him.
On Tommy Lee's show, Battleground Earth, he ridiculed Lee. His electronic book, You Might Be a Douchebag, became a runaway hit in 2011. He has been opening for Lisa Lampanelli on her globe tour since 2008. Starting in 2012, he has been providing content for the NHLPA. It was also in 2012 that his CD Salute! was released. It was recorded in the Bay Area, specifically San Francisco. Joe Bartnick regularly discusses the ice game as a co-host and creator of the podcast PuckOff.
