Jenna Bush Hager, born as Jenna Welch Bush (November 25, 1981) is an American author, news personality, and journalist. She is from Dallas, Texas, and attended Preston Hollow Elementary School. Later, she joined The Hockaday School. Jenna is the daughter of the 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. After her family moved to Austin, she joined St. Andrew's Episcopal School and attended Austin High School from 1996 till 2000, her graduation. Her father became president in 2001, and Bush joined the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated from university with a degree in English in 2004. At the age of 21, Bush was charged with a misdemeanor for possession of alcohol, and later on May 29, 2001; she was again charged for attempting to use a fake ID.
Jenna Bush worked at Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School as a teacher. She also worked as an internee for UNICEF's Educational Policy Department in Latin America. Currently, Jenna works as a part-time reading coordinator at the SEED Public Charter School (Baltimore, Maryland). She is also the current o-host of Today with Hoda & Jenna, which is the fourth hour of NBC's morning news program named “Today.”
On November 26, 2012, Jenna was named as an editor-at-large of Southern Living magazine. The Ellen DeGeneres Show has Jenna Bush on during her book tour entitled Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope. Some of the other publications by her are Read All About It! 2008, Our Great Big Backyard 2016, and Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life 2017.
