Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy (September 6, 1958) is an American entertainer, actor, author, radio and TV host, and writer born in Atlanta, Georgia. Along with Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and the late Ron White, he performs on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. With six albums under his belt, Foxworthy has become famous for his "You might be a redneck" one-liners and his comedic stylings.
The "You Might Be a Redneck" trend began with his 1993 comedy album You Might Be a Redneck If..., which peaked at No. 1 on the charts. The album achieved three consecutive platinum certifications by 1996, meaning it had sold over three million copies, in addition to gold in 1994 and 1995.
Games Rednecks Play, released by Foxworthy in July 1995, was nominated for Best Spoken Comedy Album at the 1996 Grammys. Two episodes of the second season of ABC's Shark Tank featured Foxworthy as a guest "Shark" in 2011.
The American Bible Challenge is a two-season game show on GSN with a biblical theme that Foxworthy has hosted and produced since August 2012. Additionally, he hosted the inaugural season of the 2013–2014 food reality competition series The American Baking Competition.
Several Versus and the Outdoor Channel shows have featured Foxworthy as a host or special guest. The casting of Foxworthy as a judge for Bring the Funny, an NBC comedy competition series, was announced in February 2019. In 2020, Jeff Foxworthy was a guest on Ellen's Game of Games, where he played Stink Tank.
