Girl from the North Country is known as a musical act and book written by Conor McPherson, using the songs by Bob Dylan in the musical. Girl from the North Country is not the first show that used Dylan’s music. The first was named The Times They Are a-Changin’ by Twyla Tharp. Production of the musical premiered from July 8 to October 7, 2017, at The Old Vic, London. McPherson also directed this as well. After enjoying a successful start, the show was transferred to Noel Coward Theatre on the West End of London and ran from December 29, 2017, to March 24, 2018.
