Ginger Minj is an American drag queen, singer, songwriter, actor, and reality TV personality from Lake County, Florida. Her birth name is Joshua Allen Eads, and her drag mother is Rusty Fawcett. Eads went to school and majored in theater. Eads decided Ginger Minj would compete in the seventh season of the famous reality television competition, RuPaul's Drag Race. Ginger Minj won 3 challenges, including Snatch Game, in which he portrayed Adele. Her performance was ranked as the 6th best performance of the segment by Sam Damshenas of Gay Times.
Ginger Minj was one of the top three contestants in the competition but lost to Violet Chachki. Later on, he appeared as a guest in the premiere of season eleven of Drag Race for the first challenge. After the show, she embarked on many international drag tours. Ginger Minj hosted the Haters Roast tour, Queens United in November 2017, and a few more. She was also announced as a featured cast member for Digital Drag Fest, an online drag festival, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Ooh Lala Lala'' was the first single Ginger Minj that came out on June 1, 2015, followed by "Bad, Bad Boy" in 2016. Sweet T was the debut album by her released the same year. Ginger Minj also appeared in a few hit films such as A Queen For the People, The Queens, and Dumplin'. Her notable TV credits are House of Mayhem 2017, AJ and the Queen 2020, and Super Drags 2018.
