Gareth Reynolds Information
Gareth Patrick Reynolds (November 27, 1979) is an American podcaster, producer, writer, and comedian. He is dual-national, holding both British and American citizenship. Reynolds is best known for hosting the comedy history podcast The Dollop, where he appears alongside Dave Anthony. Reynolds was born in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. He went to Emerson College in Boston. There he joined the improved group called Swollen Monkeys. Reynolds completed his graduation in 2003 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy as his full-time career.
Reynolds performed his first-ever stand-up show in Milwaukee at Comedy Sports. He also worked on the NBC prank/hidden camera series entitled, The Real Wedding Crashers in 2005. Reynolds also co-hosts the podcast with Evan Mann named Point vs. Point. He has written and produced several television shows, including Failosophy on MTV and Arrested Development.
The Dollop, the comedy history podcast that brought more fame for Reynolds, was started in 2014. Anthony tells him a particularly notable or shocking story from American history about which Reynolds does not know in this show.
Reynolds has been a part of several films as a writer, supervising producer, executive story editor, and executive producer. Those films are You’re the Worst (2019), Flaked (2017), and a few others.
