Florence Foresti (November 8, 1973) is a French actress and comedian born in Venissieux, France. After completing her high school education, Florence went on to study dramatic expression, theatre, and literature at Saint-Just de Lyon. After completing her studies, she appeared as an artist on the French television show named “Thalassa.” Florence again enrolled in a course for classical theatre at Lyon to further enhance her skills as a professional artist. She made her debut in 1998 at the café-theatre Le nOmbril du mOride (“The navel of the world”). She appeared as a part of a woman trio called “Les Taupes Models,” along with Cecile Giroud and Celine lanucci.
Florence did her first one-woman show in 2001, Manquerait plus qu’elle soit drole, which also won the Jury Prize during the Antibes festival. Her style was compared to that of Sylvie Joly and Muriel Robin. She started her second one-woman show in 2005 entitled “Florence Foresti fail des sketchs.” She staged her show MotherFucker from May 2009 to April 2011, Florence has appeared in several films since she started her careers such as Dikkenek (2006), The Ant Bully (2006), Game of Four (2007), King Guillaume (2009), Hollywoo (2011), and Paris a tout prix (2013).
