Erik Terrell is an American stand-up comedian who headlines comedy venues scattered all along the East Coast. He regularly performs at various Los Angeles and New York-based Comedy Clubs such as New York Comedy Club, the Stand, the Laugh Factory, Gotham Comedy Club, and Carolines on Broadway. In 2019, Terrell was named one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch” during the New York Comedy Festival.
While studying in college, Terrell was President of the “Hampton Players” which was a drama organization. He used to host and perform all the Homecoming and Spring Fest Comedy Shows of Hampton University. Terrell completed his graduation in 2013 and returned home to Philadelphia. He was picked up by Helium Comedy Club soon after his arrival. Terrell has opened shows for Mark Normand, Godfrey, Dov Davidoff, Sam Morrill, and Dick Gregory.
Terrell has made several triumphant performances throughout his career, although the best may be the Conshy Comedy Fest in 2017. He has performed during the National Dog Show by NBC in Philadelphia and even headlined and produced his show “Officially Overseas” at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
He has been featured at more than fifteen mainstream comedy festivals, including the North Carolina Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, Oak City Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, and New York Comedy Festival.
