Erik Griffin Information
Erik Griffin is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Los Angeles, California. His immigrant mother raised him and enrolled him in a stand-up comedy class at UCLA Extension. When Griffin finished the class, he began doing open mics. Unfortunately, his arrogance, lack of mentorship, and an overall bad experience drove him to leave.
Griffin revived his comedy career in 2003 after working at a school. Ten years later, in 2013, he recorded a half-hour special for Comedy Central. The same year, Griffin released his first stand-up album, Technical Foul: Volume One. In 2017, his Erik Griffin: The Ugly Truth premiered on Showtime. Another special entitled AmERIKan Warrior followed it in June 2018. It also premiered on Showtime. On October 27, 2018, he premiered his podcast named Riffin w/ Griffin.
Erik Griffin has made several notable appearances in hit films such as The Soul Agency, Franklin & Bash, A Guy Walks Into a Bar, Workaholics: The Other Cubicle, Lucas Bros. Moving Co., Twinzies: Couples Therapy, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Morris & the Cow, Fatties: Take Down the House, Murder Mystery, and Airplane Mode.
