Eifman Ballet is an American dance company. It was established in 1977 by Boris Eifman. The concept behind this ballet was very innovative for its time. The ballet performed for the first time and played Two-Voice and Boomerang. The audience loved the performance, and critics also began to argue about the latest tendencies in Russian ballet.
Eifman's theatre is developing its unique approach to repertoire building in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Boris Eifman produces choreographic patterns that are extremely crisp, aiming to represent the flaming passions of ballet characters: The Duel, The Idiot, The Mad March Day, or The Marriage of Figaro, The Legend, The Twelfth Night, Master and Margarita, and Murderers.
