Eddie Trunk Information
Eddie Trunk (August 8, 1964) is an American author, talk show host, radio personality, and historian was born in Madison, New Jersey. Trunk was a mainstay at his childhood radio station, WDHA, from the late 1980s through 1994. During his ten years of part-time work at DHA, he included hosting, producing, and programming the station's popular metal show and many airshifts, remote broadcasts, interviews, and promotions.
Axl Rose, lead vocalist of Guns N' Roses, dropped by Trunk's Q104.3 radio show in May 2006 for an unexpected visit. Rose showed up unannounced on New York's Trunk's radio station and was on air for 2.5 hours alongside Trunk and other guests. In 2019, Trunk came clean about his involvement in Anthrax's 1989 cover of "Parasite" by KISS, where he was listed as Ed "Parasite" Trunk in the special thanks section. He had recorded backing vocals for the song.
Eddie Trunk Rocks, a radio show that Trunk has hosted and produced since 2012, is broadcast on the FM frequency from New York's Q104.3 (WAXQ) and is syndicated by Radio KG. In addition to his work as host of Eddie Trunk Live on The Boneyard station, Trunk currently broadcasts Trunk Nation on Sirius XM Radio channels Faction Talk and Hair Nation. as well as serving as an interviewer and music host for the New York City-based MSG Network.
