Donnell Rawlings Information
Donnell M. Rawlings (December 6, 1968) is an American actor, comedian, and radio host from Washington, D.C. He grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, with his mother and attended T.C. Williams High School there. Rawlings served his country in the United States Air Force, and the late 1980s and early 19090s was stationed in South Korea and at Bolling Air Force Base.
Donnell M. Rawlings is currently most notable for his frequent appearances in sketches on Chappelle's Show and hosting the third season with Charlie Murphy with "I'm rich, biaaaaatch!" being his catchphrase on the show. He also demonstrates his knowledge of speaking broken Korean in the sketches "Player Hater's Ball" and "The Time Haters," which he learned in the Air Force.
Rawlings stars in a series of sketch comedy clips portraying his character Ashy Larry on heavy.com. It is part of the Chappelle's Show, called "From Ashy to Classy." He has also made appearances on HBO drama series The Corner, has been seen in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2, the music video for Jim Jones' "We Fly High," on the MTV2 show Guy Code, an episode of the Dr. Zoe Today Show, and many more. He was also a regular on The Ricki Lake Show.
Rawlings was featured on the cover of Beyond Race magazine in 2007 and competed as a contestant in the Comedy Central show Reality Bites Back.
