Desi Banks Information
Desi Terrell Banks Jr. (May 9, 1993) is a comedian and actor born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a wide receiver for Morehead State for two years. In 2012, Banks started uploading comedy sketches to the platform Vine.
After graduating from high school in 2015, he decided to pursue a career in comedy since "football didn't work out" in light of the success of his online videos. He branched out to more sites, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, where he regularly uploads many videos.
In 2023, he had over 8 million Instagram followers, 2 million YouTube subscribers, and 750 million video views. The Hollywood Reporter has moved him up their ranking of the top comedians to at least the third spot.
2017 marked the year that Banks began doing stand-up comedy. In 2018, he established a video production firm called Desi Banks Productions. He has appeared in films, including Little (2018), directed by Will Packer.
