Dante Gebel Information
Dante Gebel (July 6, 1968) is an Argentine television personality, writer, pastor, and talk show host born in Billinghurst, Argentina. As a young man, he began to use his musical talents in the church by playing drums, singing, and traveling with evangelists on crusades. He wed Liliana in 1990, and the two ran the adult-only radio show Lnea Abierta.
He served as the Hispanic church's pastor at Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, from 2009 to 2012. Following their relocation to the Anaheim Convention Center, the church changed its name to Favorday Church. He is the current pastor of the Anaheim, California megachurch River Church. Every Sunday, there will be a service in Spanish with an English translation available.
Dante prayed during an event in Uganda on May 14, commemorating Israel's 71 years of independence. The Kololo Pavilion in Kampala hosted the event, overseen by Israel's deputy ambassador, David Eyal. At Nayib Bukele's inauguration on June 1, 2019, Gebel spoke and prayed for the next president of El Salvador. Several novels, all written in Spanish, bear his name.
