Craig Shoemaker (November 15, 1964) is an American actor, author, writer, stand-up comedian, and producer. He is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Springfield Township High School. Craig attended Temple University, and he financed college by working as an MC and bartender for comedy shows. Later on, Craig attended the California University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in television, film, and radio.
Craig Shoemaker's career in show business spans over three decades. His stage, TV, and film acting credits are very extensive and wide-ranging. He was seen in many hit films, including Scream 2, Safe House, Pleasantville, Comic Relief, Totally Baked: A Pot-u-Mentary, Dark Honeymoon, and Craig Shoemaker: The Lovemaster... Unzipped. Shoemaker was also asked to join the writing staff for the iconic sitcom Fuller House, season two. He also published a book, LoveMaster'd A Digital Journey to Love & Happiness, which is critically acclaimed by the likes of Dr. Drew Pinsky and Whoopi Goldberg.
In 2003, Craig Shoemaker founded a nonprofit group named LaughterHeals.org, which is dedicated to using laughter as a healing modality. He has appeared in a variety of television shows such as Matlock, FBI: The Untold Stories, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, My Generation: VH1 (Host), Comedy Special: Unzipped (Comedy Central), Comedy Special: Daditude (Netflix), and Parks and Recreation.
Craig Shoemaker has won the XM Nation Award 2006, Communicator Crystal Award 2004, Elevate Film Festival award 2007, American Comedy Award, and Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award (twice).
