Conan O'Brien Information
Conan Christopher O’Brien (April 18, 1963) is an American producer, podcaster, writer, comedian, and television host. He was born in Brookline, Massachusetts. O’Brien attended Brookline High School. He performed his services as the Managing Editor of the school newspaper called “The Sagamore.” He was an intern for Congressman Robert Drinan during his second year. While he was in the senior year of the school, Conan won the “National Council for Teachers of English,”; a writing contest where he had written a story entitled “To Bury the Living.”
O’Brien completed his graduation as valedictorian in 1981. After graduating, he entered Harvard University. There he concentrated on History and Literature. In 1985, he graduated magna cum laude. While studying in college, O’Brien wrote for the Harvard Lampoon that was a humor magazine as well as briefly played drums for the band called the “Bad Clams.”
After completing his graduation, O’Brien moved to Los Angeles to join the staff of HBO for a comedy series, “Not Necessarily the News.” O’Brien got hired by the Lorne Michaels, who was the executive producer for the Saturday Night Live (SNL) in January 1988. O’Brien has been the producer and writer for The Simpsons from the year 1991 to 1993. The most acclaimed episodes of The Simpsons “Homer Goes to College” and “Marge vs. The Monorail” was written by O'Brien.
Another successful project by Conan O’Brien was the late-night talk-show called “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” The show premiered on September 13, 1993. O’Brien hosted The Tonight Show for seven months from 2009-2010. O’Brien has appeared in several films such as Storytelling (2001), Bewitched (2005), Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 (2013), and several others.
