Commissioned Reunion Information
The Commissioned Reunion is famous for its Live gospel music album. It is an American contemporary gospel music group named Commissioned Reunionwho produced the music album. The album was released on April 23, 2002, under the label of Verity Records. The group is originally based in Detroit, Michigan.
The Commissioned Reunion Live album reached #8 on the Billboard Top Contemporary Christian Chart and #3 on the US Billboard Top Gospel albums. So far, the Commissioned Reunion group has recorded twelve albums.
There were initially six members in the group, including Mitchell Jones, Keith Staten, Fred Hammond, Michael Williams, Michael Brooks, and Karl Reid. These people together formed this group in 1982. The Commissioned Reunion Live was recorded live on October 26, 2001, in Detroit, Michigan, at Straightgate Church.
The group has also performed live on stage during Stellar Awards 2002 held in Atlanta, Georgia. After playing on the Stellar Awards stage, they got an honor to perform at BMI Awards. The group members were also invited to perform at the celebration of the 104th Summer Convention of the P.A.W. Inc.
Some of the popular albums by the group include I’m Going On (1985), Go Tell Somebody (1986), On The Winning Side (1987), and Will You Be Ready? (1988), all under the label of Light Records. In 1997, they recorded Number 7 under the label of Benson Records, and on October 12, 1999, the group presented another album under the label of Verity Records. In 1994, they recorded their only single “Love Is The Way” under the label of A&M Records.
