Christopher Ryan Hardwick (born November 23, 1971) is an American actor, producer, stand-up comedian, writer, producer, television host, and podcaster. He is from Louisville, Kentucky, and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles. Hardwick’s work is described in the genres of blue comedy, sarcasm, satire, self-deprecation, musical comedy, observational comedy, and a few more. He met then-struggling television personality and comedian named Joan Rivers. The two became great friends.
At the beginning of his career, Hardwick worked as a DJ on radio station KRO-FM (Los Angeles) in the mid-1990s. Later in 1998, he got starred in the UPN comedy show named Guys Like Us. Hardwick also appeared in many films, including House of 1000 Corpses, Halloween II, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, The Mother of Invention, and a few more.
Hardwick made many prominent guest appearances in shows like Boy Meets World, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Zoey 101, Married... with Children, VH1's I Love the '90s (as a guest commentator), and the list goes on. He has also made an appearance on an album by a hip-hop group named Little Brother, The Minstrel Show.
Hardwick is a major contributor writer for Wired (since 2007), and he also wrote Web Soup along with Back at the Barnyard.
