Casey Frey (June 23, 1993) is an American comedian and dancer. Frey is a native of Mendocino County, California, and has said that he and his brother used to make home movies for their loved ones before he started posting dance videos to Vine. Frey amassed over 250,000 Vine followers before the app's termination in January 2017. In May of 2019, a video to Dvbbs' "GOMF" went viral in which "a version of himself wearing sunglasses mocks [a clone of himself] for cutting wood and dancing," with a third "Frey" in an open button-up and a bucket hat stepping in to help.
In 2020, the original video will have spawned countless parodies and homages on TikTok. In the music video for "GOMF," Frey portrayed the role of the "leather-jacketed man who runs the mechanical bull ride and speaks in the funny German accent" after Dvbbs's viral video featuring the song went viral. Frey has performed in the music video for "The Business" by Tisto and starred in Gia Coppola's film Mainstream. The Knocks' "Bedroom Eyes" music video also features Frey's dancing.
