Caroline Rhea Information
Caroline Rhea (April 13, 1964) is a Canadian stand-up comedian and actress. She was born in Westmound, Quebec. Rhea moved to New York City in 1986 to advance her acting and stand-up comedy careers. She got her to start performing at shows like Catch a Rising Star and The Comic Strip alongside established comics like Chris Rock, Dave Attell, Marc Maron, Louis C.K., and Jim Gaffigan. She first appeared on television performing stand-up comedy on MTV's Half-Hour Comedy Hour and Caroline's Comedy Hour.
After achieving success in New York as a stand-up comedian, Caroline moved to LA to try her hand at acting in Hollywood. Pride & Joy, an NBC sitcom in which she co-starred with Jeremy Piven, marked her acting debut. Later, she became well-known for her role as Aunt Hilda on the ABC (and then The WB network) television series Sabrina the Teenage Witch and her frequent appearances on the most recent version of Hollywood Squares.
In addition to her role as the first host of NBC's The Biggest Loser, Caroline Rhea is well-known for her syndication as the host of The Caroline Rhea Show and her roles as Linda Flynn-Fletcher on the long-running Disney series Phineas and Ferb and Noleta Nethercott on Logo's Sordid Lives: The Series. This later part returned in March with the release of the film A Very Sordid Wedding.
