Bruce Church is an American stand-up comedian and actor from Atlanta, Georgia, commonly known by his unique stage name Bruce Bruce. He was raised in The Bluff, one of the city’s roughest neighborhoods. Bruce has worked in various television shows, films, and stand-up comedy shows and has served as the host of the ComicView of BET.
Bruce gained exposure from his appearance in the film, The Wash, released in 2001. The Wash was his first film and was written, produced, and directed by DJ Pooh, Dr. Dre, DJ Pooh, and Snoop Dog. The film featured Pauly Shore, Xzibit, Kurupt, Ludacris, Eminem, and Shaquille O’Neal.
Some other notable films in which Bruce appeared include Hair Show (2004), Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006), XXX: State of the Union (2005), Idlewild (2006), Who’s Your Caddy? (2007), Think Like a Man (2012), Top Five (2014), Maron (2015), and BET’s ComicView.
