Brendan Schaub Information
Brendan Peter Schaub (March 18, 1983) is an American podcast host, former professional mixed martial artist, and stand-up comedian born in Aurora, Colorado. He took part in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2009 to compete on The Ultimate Fighter, and until 2014, he fought for the company. In 2015, Schaub officially retired from mixed martial arts. Rather, he co-hosted The Fighter and the Kid podcast with Bryan Challen. Currently, he is running a solo podcast entitled “Below the Belt with Brendan Schaub.”
Schaub and Bryan Callen started their podcast “The Fighter and The Kid” in 2013. Until 2016, the FOX network produced the shows, but they later left the network and began to make the podcast on their own. They do many tours around the country where they performed mix shows between duo stand-up comedy acts and a live podcast. Schaub made his solo comedy debut at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California.
Schaub began his stand-up comedy career in 2015. Initially, he was performing as a duo with Callen, but he began performing solo after some time. In 2019, Schaub released the first comedy special of his career entitled “You’d Be Surprised.”
Schaub has appeared in a few films throughout his entertainment careers such as The Ultimate Fighter (2009), The Fighter and The Kid 3D (2016), Range 15 (2016), BELOW THE BELT with Brendan Schaub (2018), Bravo’s Play-By-Play (2018), and The Tax Collector (2020).
