Bradley Henry Gerstenfeld (April 14, 1960) is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He was born in Oxnard, California. He is professionally known by his stage name, Brad Garrett. Early in the 1980s, Garrett found fame as a stand-up comedian. Taking advantage of that breakthrough in the late 1980s, Garrett started making a cameo and supporting appearances in movies and television. Robert Barone was his first significant role, appearing on the CBS sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond. September 13, 1996, saw the premiere of the nine-season television series. In the television movie Gleason in 2002, he gave a critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated performance as Jackie Gleason.
Casper (1995), A Bug's Life (1998), An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000), Stuart Little 2 (2002), Finding Nemo (2003), Garfield (2004), The Pacifier (2005), Ratatouille (2007), and several other movies have Garrett in leading parts. From 2006 until 2010, Garrett starred as Eddie Stark, the main character, on the Fox comedy 'Til Death. He portrayed the Easter Island Head in the Night at the Museum trilogy from 2006 to 2014. He played the lead in the ABC sitcom Single Parents from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, Garrett collaborated in Disney+'s Big Shot production with Dean Lorey and David E. Kelley. He also played the Big Dog in the animated series 2 Stupid Dogs.
