For his theatrical achievements in 2019, he was honored with an Alpert Award for Achievement in the Arts. Eric Ting will be directing the performance. Bina and her family grew the best apples in Korea, but they had to leave their home because of the conflict, and they could only take six apples with them. After the destruction of their farm, she packs what little she can into her ratty old suitcase and starts on an adventure full of heartbreak and laughter.
She faces new obstacles at every step and must rely on her strength to persevere as she learns how much her legacy can make an impact. Bina learns the value of her fruits during her long search for a permanent residence. This enthralling story will take you to new emotional depths as it tells the inspiring story of one family's fight for life.
