Ben Bailey Information
Ben Bailey (October 30, 1970) is an American licensed taxi cab driver and a comedian. He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and raised in Chatham Borough, New Jersey. Bailey is the youngest one in his family. Before moving to Los Angeles in 1993, Bailey attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He is a young, smart, and 6 feet, 6 inches tall man. Due to his strong personality, he was offered a job as a bouncer at The Comedy Store.
Ben Bailey was offered a stand-up comedy opportunity while he was telling humorous stories to The Comedy Store’s comedians. Skip E. Lowe heard his stories and delivered him to speak on the stage. Skip E. found the stories extremely humorous that he was saying to the comedians.
Bailey is currently hosting the Cash Cab (American Version) that is broadcasted on the Discovery Channel. In this game show, he drives a taxicab all around New York City. Bailey has recently appeared on the TalkBackTV of the new Shovio.com. Smash Lab series of the Discovery Channel was also narrated by Bailey.
Bailey has been the host of the “Who’s Still Standing” on NBC from 2011 to 2012. Due to high production costs, it was announced on May 13, 2012, that the show is not going to be continued. He has done television commercials for the electric/natural gas company from Michigan “DTE Energy” as well as ALDI (supermarket chain).
Bailey has also appeared in different television programs, including Caroline and Friends (2018), Delivery Man (2013), Friends of the People (2015), The Today Show (2008), and many others as well.
