Bands of America Information
Bands of America (BOA) remains one of the top marching band competitions in the U.S. Grand National Championships in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2023, featuring nearly 100 high school bands. There were several rounds to the event: preliminary, semi-final, and final, and Avon High School won their 4th Grand National title in 13 years. This annual three-day event has earned a reputation for a high level of competition, with some of the country's best student musicians and visual performances under one roof.
The BOA season 2024 features 30 events, including the Super Regional Championship at St. Louis, where over 70 bands from 14 states will compete for the championship. The Super Regional will be in October, featuring two days of bruising competition, capped by a special exhibition performance by the Western Carolina University marching band. Then, in November, we will bring the year to a close with the Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium. BOA is a name people know of nationwide, a hallmark event for marching bands around the country, building talent and musical excellence.
